  • Our programs are tailored for:

    • Kindergarten & Early Learning

    • Primary School students (Foundation – Year 6)

    • Secondary students (Years 7 -12)

    • Community events & council programs

Sessions are age-appropriate and designed to engage different learning levels.

  • Students don’t just listen — they do.

    Our sessions include:

    • Hands-on sustainability activities

    • Interactive environmental games

    • Waste sorting challenges

    • Creative reuse workshops

    • Take-home items that extend learning beyond the classroom

Every session builds knowledge, confidence and an item to take home to encourage sustainable action.

  • Yes. Every Earth Crusaders session begins with an Acknowledgement of Country, respectfully tailored to the local Traditional Custodians of the land where the program is being delivered.

We believe environmental education must recognise and honour First Nations perspectives and the deep, ongoing connection to Country. Beginning each session this way helps students understand that caring for the environment is not a new idea, it has been practised by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for tens of thousands of years.

If your school has a preferred wording or established protocol, we are always happy to incorporate it.

  • Yes. Our incursions align with the Australian Curriculum and Victorian Curriculum, particularly the Sustainability cross-curriculum priority, supporting Science, Geography and Civics learning outcomes.

  • Yes, we regularly tailor our sessions to connect directly with your school’s current inquiry units or learning focus.

Whether your class is exploring topics such as biodiversity, waste and recycling, food systems, climate action, or Indigenous perspectives, we can adapt activities, language and examples to reinforce what students are already learning in the classroom.

    We’re happy to:

    • Integrate previous learning and key vocabulary from your unit

    • Reference current inquiry unit questions

    • Align with Science, Geography or Sustainability outcomes

    • Support cross-curricular learning goals

If you share your unit overview or recent teaching when booking, we’ll incorporate relevant references to ensure the session feels purposeful, connected and meaningful for students.

  • Standard sessions run for 50–60 minutes to fit within school timetables (we prefer 60 min but can accommodate 50 min if this better fits your school schedule).
We can also design extended or multi-session programs for special bookings. As we have 2 facilitators in each session we don't require time between sessions to reset, sessions can be run back-to-back.

  • Each session can accommodate up to 25 students in Early Learning and Kindergarten and up to 30 students for all other sessions.

We can run multiple sessions per day or accommodate larger groups for events or community activities - contact us to discuss your requirements.

  • Yes, we bring everything required, including:

    • Activity materials

    • Equipment

    • Take-home sustainability items

Schools don’t need to supply anything beyond the space.

  • We usually require:

    • A hall, library or open classroom space

    • Approximately 5 trestle tables

    • Access to ventilation for the beeswax wrap activity

    • Access to a small amount of water for the Streets to Creeks activity

    • We prefer to remain set up in one location with all groups coming to us. If this isn’t possible, we can move between groups; however, we’ll require an additional 15 minutes between sessions to allow for pack-up and set-up.

We adapt to different school or community settings.

  • We travel to kindergartens, early learning centres, schools, councils, and community venues across Melbourne and Victoria. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
